Toronto Police reported a vehicle accident to them at 05.29 AM on Tuesday, 9 August. Two drivers sustained fatal injuries and a passenger died in the accident.
According to Toronto Police, the Toyota Highlander driver was traveling east on Steeles Avenue. As he was about to turn left onto Bathurst Street, a Nissan Altima lost control of his vehicle and hit the Highlander in the back. Two people were in the Altima. The driver received life-threatening injuries while the passenger was declared deceased immediately after the collision.

Toronto Police shared the information, stating that the accident occurred at 05:29 and the location Steeles/ Bathurst. It was at this intersection that the accident occurred. The reconstruction team from Toronto Police will lead the investigation.
According to Toronto paramedics the passenger in Altima died at the scene. Other injured were taken to the trauma center. A 35-year old man was one of the impaired drivers.
