The new series How A Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom was presented by J.C. Staff in the summer 2021. This project was inspired by the manga of the identical name. It began as a web comic in 2014 and then became available in paper form. Dojyomaru, an artist who wrote the manga, is the author. Although the anime adaptation was not well received, the studio released a video in the fall confirming that work is underway on a sequel. Story
The story’s center is a fantasy world. A large continent is inhabited by many countries and demons appear. Gradually, more of them appear, and eventually, a group of countries forms an empire to combat the aliens. Although the battle is won, the demons decrease the pressure and occasionally raid border states.
These countries are to wage war on the empire, and the people living in the interior will help them financially. The ruler of Elfrieden is confronted with incapacity to send troops and pay the small state. The new series will tell the story of how the people of Elfrieden found a way out and what the results were.
Elfrieden is small country without significant income. The country’s financial and social problems were only worsened by the influx of refugees fleeing the conflict. The king doesn’t see any way out of the problems that have arisen, and he accepts the suggestion of the court magicians for a hero from another planet.
The plan allows it to be used as payment. This will temporarily delay the Empire’s imminent punishment of Elfriden. The king accepts but, instead of giving the hero his crown, he gives the reign to the hero. This surprise surprises everyone. In future episodes, we will follow the adventures of this new sovereign.
The summoned hero turns to be a man from Japan, who is now in his senior year of university. Kazuya Soma quickly gains a lot of success with his new knowledge. They will find out if yesterday’s student can further improve the welfare country in the second season.
“How a Realist Hero Rebuilt The Kingdom” Season 1 was released on July 4, 2021 in Tokyo MX and BS11. It contains 13 episodes and the last episode was published on September 26, 2021. This anime was produced by J.C.Staff with Takashi Watanabe. Its script was written and directed by Gou Zappa, Hiroshi Obonogi.
The good news for anime fans is that they won’t have to wait anymore. It was confirmed that How a Realist Hero Reinbuilt the Kingdom Season 2 will be released in Winter 2022.
