What was the story?
The Perth County Opp reported that a small, double-engine aircraft crashed in an area northeast of the Stratford Municipal Airport. The accident site was reached by emergency personnel shortly after 9 a.m.
Police ordered drivers to avoid Perth Line 43 during the investigation. The investigation lasted several hours between Roads 109 & 110. Finally, the Perth County Opp confirmed the Plane Crash Sarnia investigation.

Officials from the Transportation Safety Board of Canada identified the plane as Grumman G-44 WIdgeon. The plane was also privately registered, they said. The plane left Sarnia’s airport early Tuesday morning.
