Can the reboot of Quantum Leap series be as popular after 30 years?
It has been more than 30 years since the Quantum Leap TV Series went on air. NBC finally launched the reboot of the popular NBC series, which is a mix of comedy, science-fiction and drama.
Quantum Leap, which starred Scott Bakula was a success in the cult for five season before its controversial conclusion in 1993. The series’ new series will continue the story and spirit of the original while also addressing the concerns and technology of today’s viewers.
The plot of the series
The first episode of Quantum Leap started in the same way. Dr Sam Beckett (Scott Bakula), was awake and looking into the mirror. …” When he realized that he was in another person’s body, he began to believe a past life. Quantum Leap is a story about Sam, who was frustrated by inability to prove the existence of time travel and decided to jump into “quantum booster”, to be the first test subjects. He survived, and the experiment was successful!
Sam could time travel, but was “jumping in” to the bodies of people from the past. He appeared normal to Admiral Al Calavicci (his guide and friend), but he was forced to travel in another body to correct his past mistakes.
Al provided the key details using his Ziggy pocket computer to provide the essential information about each episode. Sam’s honesty, generosity and kindness made it possible for him to change his body. Dr Sam Beckett was not able to return to his old life after the show ended in controversy.
The reboot’s pilot shows Dr Ben Song (Raymond Lee), a scientist who is able restart his Quantum Leap Project and tries to understand the machine Dr Beckett left behind. He makes a leap into his past, however. Addison Augustine (Caitlin Basett) begins to talk to her Hologram. It is similar to Dean Stockwell’s hologram in the original Ben’s only connection to his past.
The new season ” Quantum Leap“, (Episode 1, also known as “July 13, 1985”) will air on September 19, 2022. Only 4 episodes have been recorded at the moment. It is likely that there will be new episodes released every Monday.
Who are the Quantum Leap (2022?) reboot cast members?
The biggest difference between the reboot and the original Quantum Leap series is that viewers will be presented with the current period. The only characters that appeared in the original series were Bakula and Stockwell. All other characters were completely set in the past.
The reboot will show more of Dr Song’s high-tech world. Raymond Lee portrays Dr Ben Song, a quantum physicist who is driven by curiosity to use the quantum leap device.
Herbert “Magic”, the Quantum Leap Project’s head, is constantly fighting for his support and that of his team. Ernie Hudson, who played Williams was best-known for his portrayal of Winston Zeddemore from Ghostbusters.
Nanrisa Le shows Jenn Chow. She is a digital security expert who is quirky and powerful, and she has to figure out why Ben made his leap.
Caitlin bassett depicts Army veteran Ben. Addison Augustine is his only contact.
