Due to the pandemic, the annual Symphony Splash, an event that the Victoria Symphony produces, was cancelled the last two summers. The Symphony has announced that they will be returning with “Splash Around town,” a new event. Victoria Fireworks will now take place from 21st through 31st of July 2022.
This summer music festival will last ten days and will feature Dee Daniels, Steven Page, Craig Northey and others who will perform at some of the most beautiful spots in the city.

Visitors are encouraged to take public transport, bike, or walk during their visit. Due to the Fireworks at Victoria Tonight, traffic may be delayed and roads could be closed.
If you plan to bike downtown, make use of the Victoria City Hall’s new Bike Valet. This is a safe and free valet for bikes and other bicycles. A few BC Transit lines may be affected. The City of Canada BC Day Fireworks Victoria 202022 schedule has been released. It will include music, dance performances and night-time fireworks.
The festivities will start at noon with an Indigenous welcome ritual and traditional canoe etiquette. This will be followed by a performance from traditional Lekwungen dancers.
